Betreuerinnen und Betreuer gesucht

Wir werden öfter gefragt: „Ist voll genial, was ihr alles tut. Ich möchte im FAU FabLab gerne mithelfen.“

Aber wie funktioniert nun das Mitmachen eigentlich bei Euch im FAU FabLab?

Hilfe ist immer gerne gesehen und – ist relativ einfach.

Wenn Du noch nicht ganz sicher bist oder bereits mit dem Gedanken spielst, Dich im FabLab ehrenamtlich zu engagieren und mit Menschen zu arbeiten, dann komm zu einem OpenLab oder Betreuertreffen vorbei – sprich uns an. Du musst kein Mitglied werden o.ä. Wir erzählen Dir alles.

Call for translators and proofreaders

Would you like to help make the FabLab more accessible to international guests? Do you have a good understanding of English? Then we need your help with translating and especially with proofreading the machine instructions and other texts. Mithilfe gesucht – Help wanted

Dir gefällt das Angebot im FabLab? Dann freuen wir uns, wenn du etwas zurückgibst. Du kannst zum Beispiel an den Arbeitstreffen mit anpacken. Zum Beispiel am Samstag, 15.4., ab 11 Uhr bis mindestens 16 Uhr. Weitere Termine werden noch im Kalender angekündigt. Komm einfach vorbei, wir freuen uns über jede Mithilfe. Das FabLab wird ehrenamtlich betrieben und es gibt viel zu tun – Lagerbestand von Materialien prüfen, Aufräumen, Maschinen reinigen und vieles mehr.

Do you enjoy using the FabLab? Then we would be happy if you gave something back. For example, you can help out at the working meetings. For example, on Saturday 15.4. from 11 AM to at least 4 PM. Further dates will be announced in the calendar. Just come by, we are happy about any help. The FabLab is operated on a volunteer basis and there is a lot to do – checking stock of materials, cleaning up, cleaning machines and much more.

Danke – Thank you

Thanks to all who volunteered at the work session last Wednesday. Eight people came, including several international and first-time volunteers. Together we could improve the laser cutter ventilation, make space for one more PC workplace, check the inventory for some of our screws, (hopefully) fix the door status (on the top of the website) and do a good amount of cleanup.

Arbeitstreffen – hilf mit! / Working Meeting – We need your help!

Unser Lab soll schöner werden, und dafür freuen wir uns über alle (besonders auch dich), die am Arbeitstreffen vorbeikommen. Ganz egal, ob du groß und stark oder klein und neugierig bist, es gibt viele Aufgaben, bei denen du zusammen mit erfahrenen Ehrenamtlichen mit anpacken und einen Blick hinter die Kulissen werfen kannst. Neue Ausrüstung aufbauen, Anleitungen schreiben, aufräumen und vieles mehr. Alle sind herzlich eingeladen; besondere Fähigkeiten sind nicht notwendig.

Komm einfach vorbei: Mittwoch, 04.01.2023, 13:00 – 18:00. Eine Registrierung ist nicht notwendig.

If you are interested in helping out and getting a look behind the scenes, join us at our working meeting. We have a variety of tasks that you can do together with experienced volunteers. Everyone is cordially invited, special skills are not required.

Registration is not needed, just come: Wednesday January 4th 2023, 1PM to 6PM.
